Questions people ask before signing up
Do my subcontractors need to pay?
No. You invite a sub by email; they get a login that only shows your jobs and upload their weekly payroll there. A sub working for three different primes on the app uses the same login for all three, and never pays.
What counts as an active job?
A job you are still filing payrolls on. Close a finished job and it stops counting toward the Starter limit; its records stay available for the retention period.
Does it run payroll?
No. It reports on payroll. You keep QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, Gusto or whatever pays your people; the app takes the rates and deductions from them and produces the certified payroll and the checks that go with it.
How do I start?
Create your company, pick a plan, and the card is charged monthly from that day. Jobs, workers and payrolls open the moment the first payment clears, usually within a minute.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the Billing page. Export every payroll, PDF and daily report first; they are yours.
Who sees my data?
Your company, the users you add, and the subs you invite see only what belongs to them. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, kept in the U.S., and never sold or used to train anything. The privacy policy and data processing terms are short enough to read.
